Endrick on target again, as Spain squander lead in 3-3 draw against Brazil

Spain and Brazil played out a dramatic 3-3 draw in an international friendly encounter at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

After a disappointing start to 2024 with a loss against Colombia, Spain sought redemption on home soil, making several changes to their usual lineup ahead of Euro 2024.

Manchester City’s Rodri Hernandez, donning the captain’s armband, opened scoring for the hosts from the penalty spot.

Dani Olmo doubled the lead before halftime, but Rodrygo Goes pulled one back for Brazil just before the break.

The thrilling encounter continued in the second half as Endrick Felipe equalised for Brazil, taking off from where he stopped against England last weekend.

Rodri restored Spain’s lead with another penalty, hoping it will be the winner.

However, Brazil had other plans, as Lucas Paqueta converted a penalty deep into stoppage time to snatch a dramatic 3-3 draw.
